Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust, scalable backend systems from scratch
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and AI teams to define server roles that effectively support AI functionality
• Translate abstract product ideas into scalable backend services using LLM tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Analyze data deeply and define key data points for AI modeling and platform scalability
• Solve problems proactively, focusing on impactful results rather than strict adherence to best practices
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and ship production-ready features in short development cycles

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Ktor, Exposed OR strong adaptability to new tools
• Knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) or quick learner mindset
• Comfortable integrating LLM tools like ChatGPT, Grok, or Gemini
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to explain technical choices clearly
• Ownership mindset, capable of working autonomously and across functional boundaries

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-scaling startup building new features from 0 to 1
• Ability to work without a dedicated PM by taking product ownership
• Passion or foundational knowledge in AI and machine learning
• Experience building products with measurable user or business impact
• Curiosity and the ability to acquire new domain knowledge quickly
