Microsoft is hiring a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer – Data Platform in Seoul. This is an individual contributor role with hybrid work flexibility. The position is a key part of Microsoft’s growth strategy for Azure, focusing on helping commercial customers use the company’s cloud database and analytics stack, including Microsoft Fabric. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, leading hands-on engagements like Proof of Concepts and workshops to accelerate platform adoption and guide customers through secure, scalable solution design. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Sales & Engagement: Drive technical sales by using demos and Proof of Concepts to influence solution design and enable production deployments. You will also lead hands-on engagements like hackathons and workshops to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft's cloud platforms.
- Advisory & Architecture: Build trusted relationships with customers, co-designing secure and scalable architectures. You will guide customers through technical decisions and help them migrate databases and analytics to the cloud.
- Expertise & Community Leadership: Maintain deep expertise in Microsoft’s Analytics Portfolio (e.g., Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview) and Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB). You will also represent Microsoft by providing thought leadership in cloud database and analytics communities.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve technical blockers and objections, collaborating with engineering teams to share insights and improve products.
Requirements
- Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field OR 1+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience. Preference is given to candidates with 2+ years of experience and a background in cloud or hybrid infrastructure, migrations, and architecture design.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of databases or analytics is required. You should also have expertise in Microsoft’s Analytics Portfolio and Azure Databases, as well as on-prem EDW and BI solutions.
- Mindset: You should be insatiably curious, passionate about databases and analytics, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

자격 요건
