This is a remote contract position for a Full Stack Developer Engineer Specialist. This role is for an independent consultant or contractor with 3-5 years of experience in client-facing development, process automation, and API integration. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/Node.js and experience with platform development using technologies like Docker and GraphQL. You will be responsible for building scalable solutions, developing performant services, and contributing to the design of robust, maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Process Automation & Integration: Build scalable solutions to automate manual workflows and integrate client systems via APIs. You'll use Python for scripting automation.
- Platform & Backend Development: Develop APIs and backend services using Node.js and Python. You'll also work with Docker and GraphQL for platform development.
- Architecture & Scalability: Contribute to designing modular, reusable systems and ensure integrations are robust and aligned with software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in client-facing development, process automation, and API integration.
- Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/Node.js. 2-3 years of platform development experience using Node.js, Python, Docker, and GraphQL.
- Tools: Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows.
- Soft Skills: Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, or cloud environments is a plus.
- Contract Details: This is a contractor position with a pay range of $30-$45 per hour. You must supply your own computer and high-speed internet.
