Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Demonstrate Tomorrow.io's value to prospective government clients by understanding their business needs and articulating how the platform can solve their problems.
• Solution Design: Own the problem discovery and solution design process, including designing demonstrations and Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
• Proposal Leadership: Lead the proposal writing for strategic opportunities, including those with US and international governments.
• Cross-functional Advocacy: Act as an advocate for customer needs and issues, communicating them effectively to the Product and R&D teams.
• Expertise & Collaboration: Serve as an expert on Tomorrow.io's capabilities, working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to articulate the business value of these solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in operational meteorology, weather forecasting, or applied climate services.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of radar and satellite data, nowcasting, and the use of NWP (Numerical Weather Prediction) outputs for real-world decision-making.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the SaaS or weather technology industry, ideally supporting enterprise or government clients.
• Skills: Familiarity with APIs and cloud-based data integration, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bonus Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with geospatial datasets.
  • Experience advising public-sector organizations in the APAC region.
  • Proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Thai, Tagalog).

자격 요건

• 경력: 운영 기상학, 기상 예측 또는 응용 기후 서비스 분야에서 5년 이상의 전문 경험.
• 기술 지식: 레이더 및 위성 데이터 해석, 나우캐스팅(nowcasting), 그리고 실제 의사결정을 위한 수치예보모델(NWP) 결과물 사용에 대한 확실한 응용 지식.
• 산업 경험: SaaS 또는 기상 기술 산업 경험, 이상적으로는 기술 역할에서 엔터프라이즈 또는 정부 고객을 지원한 경험.
• 기술: API 및 클라우드 기반 데이터 통합 워크플로우에 대한 지식, 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션 및 조직 관리 능력.
• 우대 사항:
  • 기상 과학, 기상학, 지구 과학 또는 관련 분야의 석사 학위 이상.
  • 지리 공간 데이터 세트(위성, 레이더 또는 재분석 데이터)를 다룬 경험.
  • 아시아 태평양 지역의 공공 부문 조직에 기술 솔루션을 제공하거나 자문한 경험.
  • 바하사 인도네시아어, 힌디어, 태국어, 베트남어, 타갈로그어 등 하나 이상의 지역 언어에 능통.
