As a Technology & Startup Monitoring Intern, you will be part of a future-oriented team identifying, analyzing, and evaluating promising technologies and startups in Korea. You will support projects in fields such as quantum computing, next-generation materials, hyper-personalization, and EV-related technologies, while gaining hands-on exposure to innovation scouting and trend analysis. Throughout the six-month internship, you will receive mentorship, attend technical training sessions, and contribute to regular reports and a final presentation to R&D stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, screen, and monitor technology trends in pre-defined fields (e.g., quantum computing, EV technologies) and on-demand research areas
  • Analyze and evaluate Korean startups with potential for automotive and related fields
  • Develop in-depth research reports on chosen technology fields for final presentation
  • Attend and actively participate in training sessions and expert discussions
  • Collaborate with research institutes, academic partners, and Mercedes-Benz HQ stakeholders
  • Prepare clear documentation and communicate findings in regular meetings
  • Schedule and conduct progress meetings with your supervisor/mentor

Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field
✅ Strong tech curiosity and passion for innovation
✅ Good communication and presentation skills
✅ Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
✅ Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
