Key Responsibilities

• Metadata Analysis & Entry: Use research to predictively analyze live events and enter all relevant metadata into Netflix's internal systems to ensure proper merchandising before an event launches.
• Real-time Monitoring: Act as "eyes-on-glass" for live events, monitoring them in real-time to verify metadata accuracy and log any standards and practices concerns.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Live Metadata Strategist and Live Ratings Strategist to optimize workflows and on other editorial and innovation projects.
• Cultural Awareness: Stay informed about current affairs, cultural moments, and historical, political, or social issues related to live content.
• Flexibility: Be ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of live events.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a writer or editor covering live events, or as a Content Specialist, Insights Strategist, or Metadata Analyst with a focus on live series and events. Experience in sports and working with large data catalogs is a plus.
• Languages: Fluency in both English and Japanese is essential. Korean is a significant plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional skills. The ability to quickly adapt to live programming and master internal tools and systems is crucial.
• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of live entertainment and the global streaming landscape. The ability to understand complex events and fandoms and break them down into merchandisable aspects.

• 유연성: 라이브 이벤트의 특성상 야간, 주말, 공휴일 근무가 필요할 수 있습니다.

자격 요건

• 경력: 라이브 이벤트를 다룬 작가 또는 편집자로서 최소 5년의 경력, 또는 라이브 시리즈 및 이벤트에 초점을 맞춘 콘텐츠 전문가, 인사이트 전략가, 메타데이터 분석가, 플랫폼 에디터 경험. 스포츠 분야 및 대규모 데이터 카탈로그 작업 경험 우대.
• 언어: 영어와 일본어에 모두 능통해야 합니다. 한국어는 큰 장점입니다.
• 기술: 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션, 발표 및 부서 간 협업 능력. 라이브 프로그램에 빠르게 적응하고 내부 툴 및 시스템을 성공적으로 익히는 능력이 중요합니다.
• 지식: 라이브 엔터테인먼트와 글로벌 스트리밍 환경에 대한 깊은 지식. 복잡한 이벤트와 팬덤을 이해하고 상품화 가능한 측면으로 분석하는 능력.
