Traveloka, a leading travel platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Localization Specialist Intern for a 6-month full-time contract in its Korea office. This is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the company's market entry in South Korea. You'll work with product, engineering, and design teams across the region to ensure that the Traveloka platform is fully localized, both linguistically and in terms of user experience, for Korean users. The ideal candidate is currently a university student or recent graduate with native-level proficiency in Korean and excellent English skills. You should also have a strong interest in the travel industry and be a proactive collaborator.
Key Responsibilities
- Linguistic Quality Assurance: Lead the localization of UI elements across all Traveloka platforms (web and mobile), ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
- UI/UX Localization Support: Provide cultural and linguistic insights to create a seamless and intuitive user experience for the Korean market.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key metrics like website traffic and conversion rates, then propose and support improvements to enhance user engagement and efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Media Communications, English Language & Translation).
- Languages: Native-level proficiency in Korean and excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Please submit certified English test scores (TOEIC, OPIc, etc.).
- Skills: Proven ability to collaborate proactively with cross-functional and cross-geography teams. Excellent time and project management skills.
- Experience: Previous internship or freelance experience in localization or content review is a plus.
- Interests: A strong interest in the travel industry, digital platforms, or e-commerce is essential.

자격 요건
- 학력: 명문대에서 비즈니스, 미디어 커뮤니케이션, 영어 및 번역 또는 관련 분야 학위를 현재 이수 중이거나 최근 졸업한 분.
- 언어: 한국어 원어민 수준의 능숙함과 뛰어난 영어 소통 능력(작문 및 구두)을 갖춰야 합니다. TOEIC 또는 OPIc와 같은 공인 영어 시험 점수를 제출해 주십시오.
- 기술: 여러 지역 및 부서의 팀, 그리고 모든 직급의 이해관계자와 적극적으로 협력할 수 있는 능력을 보여주어야 합니다. 뛰어난 시간 및 프로젝트 관리 능력으로 여러 작업을 동시에 처리하고 마감 기한을 지킬 수 있어야 합니다.
- 경험: 로컬라이제이션 또는 콘텐츠 검토 분야에서 인턴십 또는 프리랜서 경험이 있는 분은 우대됩니다.
- 관심 분야: 여행 산업, 디지털 플랫폼 또는 이커머스에 대한 강한 관심이 필수적입니다.
