Responsibilities

• Manage Payroll Execution: Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution for South Korea and other trained countries.
• Process & Compliance: Own critical local payroll and HR processes, including involuntary deductions, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports and ensure compliance with local tax authorities.
• Financial Management: Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile collections to expenses.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and select relevant payroll software, incorporating Deel product requirements, and assess and improve rapid growth processes to ensure compliance.
• Cross-functional Expertise: Provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters to cross-functional teams and answer complex questions from employees and clients.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed of local regulatory and policy changes and communicate key changes across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of payroll and HR experience in a relevant country. Experience with new payroll implementations and managing external payroll providers is a plus.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Language: Native Korean language expertise and fluent English conversation skills.
• Personal Attributes: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and explain complex issues clearly.
• Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations and policies.

• 프로세스 및 규정 준수: 비자발적 공제 설정, 해당 지역 근로자의 온보딩 및 오프보딩 지원을 포함한 중요한 현지 급여 및 HR 프로세스를 담당합니다.
• 보고 및 조정: 내부 급여 보고서를 준비 및 조정하고 현지 세무 당국의 규정을 준수합니다.
• 재무 관리: 급여 비용 수금 일정을 잡고 수금액과 비용을 조정합니다.
• 프로세스 개선: Deel 제품 기술 요구 사항을 통합하여 급여 실행을 위한 관련 소프트웨어를 평가 및 선정하고, 규정 준수를 위해 급성장 프로세스 및 절차를 평가 및 개선합니다.
• 부서 간 전문성: 부서 간 팀에 현지 급여 및 HR 문제에 대한 전문 지식을 제공하고, 직원 및 고객의 복잡한 급여 및 HR 관련 질문에 답합니다.
• 규제 지식: 관련 현지 규정 및 정책 변경 사항을 지속적으로 파악하고, 주요 변경 사항을 팀에 전달합니다.

자격 요건

• 경력: 해당 국가에서 5년 이상의 급여 및 HR 경험. 신규 급여 시스템 구축 및 외부 급여 제공업체 관리 경험 우대.
• 학력: 공인된 기관에서 비즈니스, 회계 또는 관련 분야 학사 학위.
• 기술 능력: 현지 급여 소프트웨어 솔루션에 대한 고급 지식과 Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets에 대한 중급 지식.
• 언어: 한국어 원어민 수준 및 유창한 영어 회화 능력.
• 개인 역량: 여러 작업을 우선순위에 따라 처리하고, 마감 기한을 준수하며, 복잡한 문제를 명확하게 설명하는 능력.
• 지식: 현지 급여 및 HR 관련 규정 및 정책에 대한 탄탄한 실무 지식.
