Gauss Labs is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its Tech and Quality Assurance team in Seoul. This is a full-time, hybrid role for a professional with 3+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering. You will lead the testing and quality assessment of several AI software products, working collaboratively with cross-engineering teams in a fast-changing startup environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a fast and stable product release cycle, devising test strategies, and ensuring reliable test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing & Test Automation: Conduct testing activities by creating test cases, building test suites, and executing tests. You will also leverage an automation framework to design and maintain automated regression test suites.
  • Process Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand quality requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • DevOps: Contribute to building a fast and stable product release cycle in a DevOps environment and have a basic knowledge of source code management and CI/CD.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance engineering.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with at least one test framework (e.g., Pytest, Playwright, Selenium) and one scripting/coding language. You should have a basic understanding of Git and DevOps with CI/CD.
  • Languages: Business-level English and Korean are required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing web services and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL). Python or TypeScript experience is a plus. Experience in test planning and a self-motivated mindset are also preferred.

  • 프로세스 개선: QA 및 테스팅 분야의 산업 트렌드와 모범 사례를 지속적으로 파악하여 테스트 프로세스를 끊임없이 개선합니다.
  • 협업: 개발자 및 제품 매니저를 포함한 여러 부서와 협력하여 소프트웨어 품질 요구사항을 이해하고 효과적인 테스트 전략을 설계합니다.
  • DevOps: DevOps 환경에서 신속하고 안정적인 제품 출시 주기를 구축하는 데 기여하며, Git 및 CI/CD와 같은 소스 코드 관리에 대한 기본 지식을 갖춰야 합니다.

자격 요건

  • 경력: 소프트웨어 테스팅 또는 품질 보증 엔지니어링 분야에서 3년 이상의 경력.
  • 학력: 컴퓨터 과학, 공학 또는 관련 분야 학사 학위.
  • 기술: Pytest, Playwright, Selenium 등 하나 이상의 테스트 프레임워크 사용 경험과 하나 이상의 스크립팅/코딩 언어 활용 경험이 있어야 합니다. Git 및 CI/CD를 포함한 DevOps에 대한 기본 지식도 요구됩니다.
  • 언어: 비즈니스 수준의 영어 및 한국어 능력이 필수입니다.
  • 우대 사항: 웹 서비스 및 RESTful 또는 GraphQL API 테스트 경험. Python 또는 TypeScript 경험 우대. 독자적으로 테스트 계획 및 설계를 수행한 경험이 있으며, 자기 주도적으로 업무를 완수하는 데 익숙한 분을 우대합니다.
