Main Responsibilities

• Perform copy‑editing and on‑demand translation tasks for English → Korean projects.
• Lead and take ownership of deliverables within assigned accounts (either internal or freelance translations).
• Maintain linguistic assets: glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
• Handle terminology queries and ensure high‑quality language outputs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors/freelancers on translation projects.
• Train and qualify new linguists and maintain productivity KPIs.
• Interact with clients regarding linguistic matters.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in translation/localization.
• Native-level fluency in Korean and fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Proficient with CAT tools (XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong command of terminology in multiple subject areas.
• Excellent communication, feedback-giving, and deadline management skills.
• Experience leading small linguistic teams or projects.

자격 요건

• 번역학, 응용언어학 등 관련 전공 학사 이상 또는 동등 경력
• 번역/현지화 업무 최소 4년 이상
• 한국어 (원어민 수준), 영어 (읽기·쓰기·말하기 가능)
• XTM, SDL Studio 등의 CAT 툴 및 JIRA 등 협업 툴 사용 경험
• 다양한 영역의 전문 용어에 대한 이해도 보유
• 우수한 의사소통 역량과 피드백 능력
• 마감 준수 및 프로덕티비티 KPI 관리 역량
• 언어 전문가 팀 또는 프로젝트 리드 경험 우대
