Key Responsibilities

• Linguistic Tasks: Perform copy-editing and on-demand translation tasks, taking ownership of the quality of all deliveries.
• Team & Freelancer Management: Act as the lead on assigned accounts, coordinating and training a team of internal and external linguists. You will also test and qualify new freelancers as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Prepare, manage, and maintain linguistic materials such as glossaries and style guides to meet quality standards.
• Process & Communication: Participate in developing new working processes, manage project-related queries, and interact with clients on linguistic matters.
• Performance: Meet or exceed productivity KPIs and achieve goals set by the Squad Lead.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in translation or localization.
• Education: A university degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or equivalent experience.
• Language Skills: Native fluency in Korean (target language) and fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of the localization process and excellent experience with standard CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Subject-Matter Expertise: Excellent knowledge of terminology in two or more subject matters and the ability to act as a subject-matter expert within the company.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. The ability to work with tight deadlines and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• 언어 작업: 할당된 프로젝트 및 계정에 대한 교정 및 주문형 번역 작업을 수행하고, 모든 결과물의 품질을 책임집니다.
• 팀 및 프리랜서 관리: 담당 계정의 리드 역할을 수행하며, 내부 및 외부 언어 전문가 팀을 조율하고 교육합니다. 필요에 따라 신규 프리랜서 및 공급업체를 테스트하고 자격을 부여합니다.
• 품질 보증: 용어집 및 스타일 가이드와 같은 언어 자료를 준비, 관리, 유지하여 품질 표준을 충족시킵니다.
• 프로세스 및 소통: 새롭고 개선된 작업 프로세스 개발에 참여하고, 프로젝트 관련 문의를 관리하며, 필요에 따라 언어적 문제에 대해 고객과 소통합니다.
• 성과 달성: 생산성 KPI(핵심 성과 지표)를 충족하거나 초과하고, 스쿼드 리더가 설정한 목표를 달성합니다.

자격 요건

• 경력: 번역 또는 현지화 분야에서 4년 이상의 관련 경력.
• 학력: 번역/응용 언어학 학위 또는 그에 준하는 학력.
• 언어 능력: 한국어(모국어)에 능통하고, 영어(작문 및 회화)에 유창해야 합니다.
• 기술: 현지화 프로세스에 대한 깊은 이해. XTM, SDL Studio와 같은 표준 CAT 툴 및 JIRA와 같은 이슈 추적 및 문의 관리 툴 사용 경험.
• 주제별 전문성: 두 가지 이상의 주제 분야에서 뛰어난 전문 용어 지식을 보유하고 있으며, 회사 내에서 해당 분야의 전문가 역할을 수행할 수 있는 능력.
• 소프트 스킬: 뛰어난 대인관계, 작문 및 구두 소통 능력. 촉박한 마감 기한 내에 작업할 수 있는 능력과 명확하고 건설적인 피드백을 제공할 수 있는 능력.
