Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Advocacy: Manage critical APAC policy workstreams, including advocacy and engagement on legislative and regulatory proposals.
• Strategic Advisory: Work with the international policy team to advise the business on relevant APAC policy developments or regulations.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with government officials and regulators across the APAC region.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Direct our engagement with key APAC stakeholders, including participation in trade associations and other industry projects.
• Content Creation: Prepare consultation responses, position papers, and other advocacy materials.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the legal and policy team.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of related experience, with a Bachelor's degree.
• Background: Experience in APAC government policy, preferably in a regulatory agency or legislative office, focusing on financial and/or technology issues.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with technology-related regulatory and legislative initiatives in major jurisdictions across the APAC region.
• Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented. The willingness to tackle tasks both large and small on a small but critical team.
• Language: Fluency in Korean and/or Japanese is preferred.
• Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally within the APAC region as needed, and to NYC once a quarter.

자격 요건

• 경력: 학사 학위를 포함하여 5년 이상의 관련 경력.
• 배경: APAC 정부 정책 분야, 특히 규제 기관 또는 입법부 사무실에서 금융 및/또는 기술 문제에 초점을 맞춘 경험.
• 지식: APAC 지역 주요 관할권 내 기술 관련 규제 및 입법 이니셔티브에 대한 지식.
• 기술: 매우 꼼꼼하고 세부적인 것을 잘 챙기는 성향. 중요하지만 작은 팀에서 크고 작은 업무를 모두 처리할 의지가 있는 분.
• 언어: 한국어 및/또는 일본어 능통 우대.
• 출장: 필요에 따라 APAC 지역 내 출장 및 분기당 한 번씩 NYC 출장 가능.
