Studio XID, creator of ProtoPie, is looking for a Tech Support Engineer to join the team in Seoul or Tokyo. In this role, you’ll support enterprise customers by resolving technical and security issues, assist with on-premise setup, and build integration apps for hardware and software. You'll act as a bridge between clients, sales, and engineering teams, delivering solutions that support global designers using ProtoPie.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical/security inquiries from enterprise clients
  • Support server setup and participate in technical sales demos
  • Build integration tools for devices (Raspberry Pi, Arduino) and software (Unity, IoT APIs)
  • Troubleshoot root causes and escalate complex issues to engineering
  • Develop documentation and client-facing technical guides

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in software-hardware prototyping (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Socket.IO, JavaScript/Python/C++)
  • Familiar with Docker, networking, backend setup
  • Comfortable with scripting (Bash, Batch, JS)
  • Proficient in Korean and Japanese
  • Strong communication and customer empathy

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Figma, Unity, or other UI tools
  • Familiarity with CAN/LIN, embedded systems
  • English proficiency for internal communication

  • 고객 기술/보안 이슈 대응 및 콜 참여
  • 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 연동 도구 개발 (Raspberry Pi, Unity, IoT API 등)
  • 서버 환경 설정, 네트워크 이슈 디버깅
  • 기술 가이드 문서화 및 고객 지원 문서 제작
  • 내부 엔지니어/영업 팀과 협업

자격 요건:

  • 관련 프로토타이핑 경력 4년 이상
  • JavaScript, Python, C++ 및 Bash 스크립트 능력
  • Docker, 네트워크 설정, 백엔드 디버깅 경험
  • 한국어/일본어 능통자
  • 고객 친화적 커뮤니케이션 능력

우대 사항:

  • Figma, Unity 등 디자인 도구 경험자
  • 임베디드 디바이스, CAN/LIN 이해도
  • 영어 커뮤니케이션 가능자
