The Technical Services Team

Our Technical Services team is all about ensuring a positive customer experience and driving success with Markforged products. We do this by responding quickly and accurately, offering training and coaching, truly listening to customer needs, and helping them maximize their investment in our tech. We're looking for individuals who blend technical know-how with empathy, strong communication skills, and a dedication to getting the job done right. We operate a Partner Led Support Model, providing Tier 2 support to our reseller network, with occasional direct customer contact.

What You'll Own

• Represent Markforged by providing excellent technical support to our resellers and customers, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Grow your knowledge and competence across a diverse range of technologies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, follow up on, and resolve customer issues and questions.
• Be an active team member, delivering first-class support via email, web, and phone.
• Collaborate with other Markforged teams for continuous improvement, succeeding as "One Team."
• Create new and enhance existing technical documentation.
• Provide technical training to partners and customers as needed.
• Handle any other duties as reasonably required.

What You Have

• Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer (or similar background) with a track record of success working on complex systems.
• The ability to solve complex and diverse problems, requiring in-depth evaluation of factors (including log files and telemetry) with imaginative troubleshooting and experimentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to apply logical thinking to problem-solving.
• Working knowledge of compressed gas cylinders, gas equipment, or similar high-pressure systems is a plus.
• Competence in Salesforce or other CRM is a plus.
• Experience working with international teams is advantageous.
• The ability to independently, transparently, and consistently own a function.
• Self-motivated with a passion for learning.
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Other languages would be an advantage.
• Ability to travel as needed for on-site support interventions, partner visits, team meetings, and training at our US headquarters (up to 60% travel may be required).
• Ability to attend "after-hours" meetings to align with colleagues in other regions.
